Sunrise is one of the best times to photograph the Teton Range from Schwabacher’s Landing on the Snake River. Much to my dismay, on the morning I’d allotted to that purpose the sun, or rather clouds, had other ideas, giving me a rather moody beginning of the day. A black and white rendition seems the best way to portray the dream-like ambiance of that morning.
Rêverie, or “Dream”, is an apt title to apply to this photograph, but it also suggests introspective meditation and the Tetons are an excellent place.
