My journeys in the Americas have taken me north and south and everywhere I find fascinating cultures and subjects for my photographs. I have made three trips to Mexico and this gallery represents some of what I have found in that wonderful country of warm, caring people. Two of my short trips have been to visit friends near Puerto Vallarta on Mexico’s west coast. San Miguel de Allende, in central Mexico, was one of Nancy’s favorite places to photograph and after her death some of her students and colleagues organized a tribute shoot in March of 2012, which I was privileged to join. The city is as fascinating as it is colorful and we spent a week poking about it and its environs.
