Iris At Dusk
Iris At Dusk came from an hour-long dialogue with a Siberian iris in my pond. In a process I learned in my study with Freeman Patterson, I will plunk myself in a single place for an extended period of time and create every photograph I can come up with from that single position without moving the tripod. This forces me to really begin to see what is there, to fully engage in a mindful way my immediate surroundings.
