On a pre-dawn trip from our lodging at Lucarelli to a shoot at San Gimignano, we passed this farm house and marveled at the flower-covered entry. Sunrise over San Gimignano loomed more important so we did not stop at the farm house. After finishing at San Gimignano, there was time to detour back to the farm house, just to the east of Poggibonsi. We stopped and asked permission to photograph, generously granted, and spent more than an hour. To be sure, the light was high and hard, but you take what you can get.
