The Villa Rosa di Boscorotondo is well named. Plentiful roses adorn the courtyard and after breakfast one morning I set about to record some of their beauty. Of course, I can hardly photograph flowers without getting into abstract modes of expression, looking for the symbolic. This triple exposure combines red and yellow buds in front of a wash of pink from another flower. Though the time is well after the end of the morning "magic hour", the courtyard was still in enough shade to permit shooting.
