SINGULAR CONNECTIONS: THE GALÁPAGOS ISLANDS

John Ellert Photography

Yellow Warbler

A small, colorful, and easily recognizable songbird, widespread throughout the islands, the Yellow Warbler nests during the wet season (December to May), preferring drier habitats.
Constantly on the move through brush and undergrowth, they can be difficult to photograph. This one was flitting around through Galápagos Purslane near the lagoon on Floreana.
