SINGULAR CONNECTIONS: THE GALÁPAGOS ISLANDS

John Ellert Photography

Gardner Beach

If I have inadvertently included more images from Gardner Bay than any other location, it is probably because of the seven islands and fifteen visitor sites where we set foot, this was the most idyllic. Perhaps, too, we were all too glad to be on firm land after an eleven-hour crossing through the swells between Santa Cruz and Española. The warm sun, white sand beach, and lazy sea lions all combined to make this as close to paradise as I, for one, have been. If only yu had been there, it would have been paradise indeed.
