Among the astonishing variety of landscapes and
wildlife some make time to sit in peace and contemplate the singular
nature of the Galápagos and all the connections uniquely
apparent here. Too often we rush from event to event, stimulation
to stimulation as if that sprint alone affirms our worth and existence.
Only by ceasing the rush can we truly apprehend and comprehend
man’s connection with the rest of the natural world (in
general) and (specifically) our own personal and singular connection
to all around us.
Thank you, BF, for your insights and thoughts
that steered me toward the unifying element of this presentation.
