The eleven images here presented are my contribution to an exhibit curated by Mande Braden featuring the work of Kansas photographers celebrating Kansas landscapes.

Those who are familiar with my work have perhaps read some of the essays and stories I have written. In addition, I have, from time to time, written haiku but have never before flown any out on a public flagpole. Each image here includes a haiku written to say something about what my feelings are about the shot.
