I was delighted to find blue-foots in abundance on this trip, for I hadn’t
seen any last time I was on Bay of Banderas. I first became acquainted
with these wonderful birds in the Galápagos Islands and always derive great
pleasure in watching their flights and steep dives into the water after fish.
This booby was cruising overhead, close enough to the bright water for its
underside to be brilliantly illumined in perfect balance to the blue sky
and wispy clouds. |
