The images presented above were made over a 26 hour period in
two locations, Coronado Heights
and Kanopolis State Park. I spent four hours hiking at Kanopolis and the rest
of my waking hours
fascinated by the changing light and colors from Coronado Heights.
These two images are two of a number made while I was working
ahead of a line of severe storms, trying
(ultimately unsuccessfully) to stay out of them (there is no good photography
inside one of these!)
