This intimate little scene is one of many such in the yard
of one of my teachers, one of the foremost proponents of the
impressionist photograph. I shot the photograph during the
course of a week-long photographic workshop on the elements
of visual design, amidst a group of 14 other like-minded photographers.
It was a heady, challenging time, but I went away feeling
I had not learned much that I could put my finger on. Yet,
now I create scarcely an image without incorporating what
I did in fact learn in that week in the Canadian woods. |
